Coroplast signs, also called political signs, lawn signs, bootleg signs, and bandit signs, are useful for menu boards, special event signage, directional and informational signs, indoor point-of-purchase signs, tradeshows, and other indoor and short-term outdoor purposes. Coroplast signs are a type of rigid sign, like foam core, dibond, and PVC signs. These signs are typically lightweight, easily installed by the customer, and able to withstand water, dust, dirt, and pressure. They’re not as long-lasting as hard plastic, wood, or metal signs, but their life can be extended if kept indoors and only temporarily outdoors. They are easily damaged in extreme weather like thunderstorms or very hot days.
What are Coroplast Signs?
Coroplast signs are one of the most popular forms of rigid signs because of their versatility. They’re lightweight, waterproof, and can be installed almost everywhere. This deceptively durable type of sign is made of a corrugated plastic. It has two layers of plastic: one in a wave pattern, and the other flat. When the two are adhered, they create a much stronger sheet of plastic together.
Coroplast signs are also very easily customized. The plastic can be made into any shape required, come in any color needed, and can have any logo, text, or graphics placed on it with ease. Coroplast signs come in white, but because they are such an effective medium for printing, nearly any type of color or design can be easily printed on them.
